First Edition. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Volume VI in calf covers with gilt border decoration on upper and lower covers and raised bands on spine. Corners are bumped to boards and outers are rather scuffed and rubbed. Spine is worn head/foot with very top edge msssing. Spine has wear along edges with some closed splitting, though overall sound outers. Previous owners inscription on front paste down, half title page and title page. FFE missing. Attractive engraved frontis. Contents are clean and firmly bound with French and English adjacent translation.
