This unique work provides invaluable material related to the Tibetan Sacred Dances, which have met their doom with the destruction of monastic life in Tibet. During several periods of his field work in the Himalayas the author had studied these Buddhist temple dances. He brought to their description his expert knowledge of Tibetan iconography and ritual. Of particular interest is the translation of the Tibetan texts containing detailed instructions for the performances of the dances. The existence of such choreographical manuals explains the uniformity in the performance of temple dances and the persistence of an unchanging tradition over long periods. Dustjacket shows minor edgewear. Otherwise very nice and clean copy.

The books are shipped at the seller's risk.
- The order can be returned within seven days after receiving it (prior notification by e-mail will be appreciated), after which you will get a refund, excluding shipping costs. When the shipment is returned because of a flawed description, the shipping costs are to be paid by the seller. Returned books must arrive in the same condition as in which they was sent. Return shipments are at the sender's risk.

Prijzen zijn netto, in euro. Porto wordt tegen kostprijs doorberekend. Op verzoek sturen we u graag een scan van het boek. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten daarvan worden doorberekend aan de koper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per e-mail wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (exclusief de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden.
