London: Published By Jones And Company, No. 3, Warwick Square, 1823 0. A very good 19th century miniature poetry book in the original half leather binding. 3.75" x 2.2" x 0.75". pp.xii/pp.268 . Polished black leather spine and corners over darkened marbled boards. Smooth spine with gilt banding and gilt title: "Milton". Original grey endpapers. Engraved portrait frontis, facing an engraved title-page (both soiled and creased). Followed by a printed title-page. Colophon to verso of printed title-page: "Glasgow: Andrew & John M. Duncan, Printers to the University". Clear English text on lightly toned paper, just a few creased edges and early inked doodles. VG.

Return of goods
