London, George Newnes, 1894. 1st edition. Hardcover. pp. 672. Royal 8vo. A single bound volume of six monthly issues. This volume contains six monthly issues of this famous literary magazine. The book is handsomely bound in 3/4 wine-red polished calf, over 'pebbled' buckram, with gilt rules to the spines. The boards are rubbed at the edges, and the spine title is quite rubbed. The rear hinge is broken but the binding is holding nicely. No previous owner's markings and the contents are exceptionally clean. Ill.: black-&-white illustrations.
