Beautiful Triple Goddess swirl inscribed into dolmen stone on the illustrated hardcover.This large color filled 144pp.hardcover history journey thru earlier eras of Ireland has some fine color standing stones and dolmens.The Irish photos of castles are equally well done but the part that captivated me was the acute warfare between the Irish Gaels and the Norwegian and Danish Vikings or the Black Heathens and the Black and White Gentiles. But the fortunes of the Irish fighting the Norse Ive never seen so well told!. Very Good+/None.
