The book includes one fold-out map along with numerous black and white photographs of scenery. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. There is some bumping to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. There is a previous owner's name inked on the front endpaper. The text pages are mostly clean and bright, with the exception of notes taken and a few underlined spots on pages 115-117 (looks like the notes were taken at the site relating to the guidebook) The price clipped dust jacket has large chips missing, especially at the top front panel, edge tears, and generalized wear and tear. The rear dust jacket flap has inked notations added. Laid in is a folded map of the downtown area of Guadalajara. The book includes chapters on Mexico City, study and investigation, Calendar of fiestas, Suburbs of Mexico City, Places at a distance from Mexico City, Historical dates and names, What to read, programs and general information.
