1778, Édition Originale. Couverture rigide, 28cm x 21cm. Livre, No Place. Half-Title - Frontispiece - 91 pages. Engraved portrait frontispiece by Choffard after Monnet, engraved tailpiece. Board are lightly rubbed, but still solid. Some spotting, a few wormhole in the margin, small dampstain in bottom margin of frontispiece, some browning. Otherwise inside pages are in good condition, unmarked and tight. VERY RARE FIRST FRENCH EDITION ON LARGE PAPER. Remarkable text enclosing the historic eulogy of Catherine the Great (1729-1796) mentioning the reforms of the cadaster/land register, of the census of the Russian population, the creation of colleges, etc. WORLDCAT listed only 5 copies worldwide. 28cm x 21cm.
