This copy was formerly in the library of the Athenaeum Club, with occasional stamps and labels, and the spine is a little frayed and dulled. Overall, the book is just about in good condition. This copy was presented to the Athenaeum Club by the author; this fact is noted on a bookplate to the front pastedown.
