np, np, 1865. G. Bell was born in Glasgow but educated in Edinburgh and became an architect in the offices of Richman & Hutcheson of Birmingham. who were the restorers of pure Gothic architecture in England. Brown binding, gilt lettering, wear to binding and edges.
