DUNNING, H. W. - TO-DAY IN PALESTINELondon. T. Werner Laurie, 1907., Appears to be a first edition. Cannot find the publication date but author's preface is dated 1907. In the preface the author explains this book was compiled not from a short visit, but from ten journeys he made to Palestine. 278 pages, with 20 b./ w. photographs, taken by "the photographer of the American Colony, and Mr. C. Raad of Jerusalem" The 12th photo is a panorama of Jerusalem & is double paged. Front & back hinges have split slightly, but binding is still tight, and contents are clean. Backs of some of the photographs are faintly marked with a few spots of foxing , but they're hardly noticable. Written in ink opposite the title page is " Feb. 3rd 1916" and "10/6" is written in pencil. Bookseller's label on back endpage is for The Times (Book Club) Oxford Street, London. Sage-greenish-grey cover has an attractive decorated front with a scene in gilt, green, black & dark green, & in very good condition. 21.5cm. x 14.25cm. 1907
