Moderate wear to edges of boards, spines leather and gilt tooling bright. Ink and pencil ownership to endpapers and preliminaries. Minimal foxing. There is an unobtrusive dampstain to bottom edge of Volume III. Also, a closed tear to p. 128 of Volume V. The engravings are quite beautiful. Prose, epistles and poetry. Lovely set. .
