Blue green printed paper covers, lightly soiled. Spine sunned with small splits at top & tail. Adverts to inside covers. Rusted staples. The first 28 pages consist of black & white pictures of all of the shops in the 'Walker' empire. The remaining catalogue consists of more adverts, a list of all goods sold, and actual 1910 prices, well illustrated with black & white line drawings. G+ . "Walker's store was located at Old Market Place, Sudbury. The George Inn which had to be demolished to make way for Walkers Stores in 1908 ( later the Edinburgh Wool Shop). The architect was F. P. Trepess from Warwick and he designed it in 1908 for Walker and Company, a national chain of grocery and general stores. The soaring gable with leaded light windows is a major feature but dominating everything is the extraordinary bank of small paned windows set in iron frames (the latter feature quite innovative for its time.) Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
Postage
Postage will be charged extra; for both home and abroad deliveries.

Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
