At this time, Heathrow was known as "London Airport", being renamed in 1966. This report was penned during a period of vast expansion to the airport after the Second World War. Heathrow was founded as a small airfield in 1930, and is now the biggest airport in Britain. Illustrated with nine double-sided folding plates, and nine plates, seven of which are double-sided.Fifteen blanks leaves bound to the rear. Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Institutional label to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
