Not Stated, None, c1930. Cloth. A lovely photobook containing original photographs of Berlin, such as 'Gensdarmen Market', and 'Markisches Museum', taken around the early 1930s before World War II. Very scarce. Illustrated with fourteen original postcard photographs of Berlin, which are all presented in black-and-white. This is a lovely personal photographollection, containing snapshots of important topographical landmarks and landscapes from within Berlin, Germany. Some of these photographs seem to have been taken by the prior owner, with a handwritten description accompanying the photos, while others have been purchased.Contents include photographs of the Berlin University, 'Staatsoper', and 'An der National-Galerie&apos. This book is undated, so was dated circa 1930. This is due to the fact that these photographs contain no sight of the Nazi flag which is present in later photographs. Bound in a contemporary cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with minimal edge wear and bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of spine. A few marks to rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned to the margins, but the photographs remain bright and clean. Ink inscriptions to the odd page from a prior owner. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
