Focused on angling, fishing method by means of a fish hook of 'angle,' with the hook attached to a fishing line manipulated via a fishing rod. With descriptions of British angling flies' kinds, sizes, shapes, and colours. Collated, complete with nine lithographic full page plates despite the plate list mentioning only eight, and another engraving in text.  In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, general light soiling to the boards. Internally, firmly bound.
