Written and illustrated by Raymond Briggs, an English illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist, and author who achieved critical and popular success. He is best known for his 1978 story The Snowman whose cartoon adaptation is televised and musical adaptation is staged each Christmas. In the original pictorial paper covered binding.
