Stories include: Rupert's Puppy Puzzle, Rupert and the Elephants, and Rupert and the Arrows. Created by Mary Tourtel, a British artist best known as the creator of the comic strip Rupert Bear. Written and illustrated by Alfred Bestall, a British author who wrote and illustrated Rupert Bear for the London Daily Express, from 1935 to 1965. In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor chipping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound.
