This collection includes an illustrated printing of the author's popular poem 'The Roll of the Kettledrum', as well as 'Sea Spray and Smoke Drift', 'Bush Ballads and Galloping Rhymes', 'Ashtaroth: A Dramatic Lyric' and additional 'Miscellaneous Poems', which are not illustrated. Illustrated with a frontispiece of the author, as well as eleven illustrations to accompany 'The Roll of the Kettledrum&apos. Bound in half crushed morocco with marbled paper-covered boards. Externally, generally smart, with rubbing to the extremities and front joint. The odd mark to boards and endpapers. Front hinge is a touch strained after frontispiece, but holding firm.
