A schedule of events or programs offered at the 44th Annual Convention of the National Association of Negro Musicians (NANM) in Los Angeles from August 13th to 18th, 1967. This convention featured sopranos Sara McFerrin and Delcina Stevenson, among other artists. NANM is an association founded in 1919 that promotes the work and education of Black musicians in America through scholarships, educational opportunities and networking, etc. The Georgia Laster Branch formed in 1961 in Los Angeles, inspired by the work of the national organization. It was named after a Black musician who died in a car accident in 1961. GOOD condition. Superficial loss of paper to the upper front page, resulting in the loss of the word "Branch." Horizontal and vertical fold creases present, along with a few other smaller creases and wrinkles. Minor soiling and uneven toning. A few small stains. Good .
