This work was written in his retirement and partly as a relief from the stresses of wartime. In original cloth bindings with original dustwrappers. Dustwrappers to volumes I and III are protected in a plastic wrap which is adhered to pastedowns. Removing dustwrappers and plastic wraps would cause damage to pastedowns. Volume II dustwrapper does not have a protective wrap. Externally, very smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrappers are generally smart. Chipping to the head and tail of wraps to all volumes and to the extremities. Dustwrapper to volume II is price clipped. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound.
