A later printing of this work, originally published in 1941. A dictionary of common quotations in the English language and culture, containing over 40,000 quotations. An excellent work of reference. Complete with its unclipped dust wrapepr. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. The dust wrapper is very smart and unclipped, with light sunning to the spine. Protective brodart was pasted over the wraps to the internals by a previous owner. Internally, firmly bound. Few minor spots to the edges, not affecting the pages that are bright and clean. Fine . Ill.: None. Fine/Very Good.
