Hickox  - W.P.G', dated 1903.With a plain paper dust wrapper, also inscribed by the author to Hickox, and with the additional word 'delivery' in Garrison's hand.A lost race satire in which an American is shipwrecked on the island of the Houyhnhums in the 1870s. A philosophical fantasy and a sequel to 'Gulliver's Travels&apos. In the publisher's original reverse calf backed paper covered boards, with dust wrapper. A touch of fading to back strip, otherwise externally fine. Pencil inscription to a front blank. Small closed tear to head of dust wrapper front wrap, with further closed tear to back strip head.
