This volume contains various articles that explore the life and work of various artists, including the life and work of Marcus Stone R.A; Sir E. J. Poynter P.R. A; W. Q. Orchardson R. A; the work of Walter Crane; the Life and work of Lady Butler; Peter Graham R.A; and the Decorative art of Sir E. Burne-Jones. The works are paginated separately and is illustrated with etchings, engravings and numerous other illustrations. Eighteen full plates, four being in colour. "A Social Eddy" plate is loose but present. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some fading to the spine and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A previous owner inscription dated 1919 to the front free endpaper. Front hinge starting but remains firm, rear hinge starting and beginning to loosen. Internally, generally firmly bound with a plate unbound. Pages remain bright and clean . Very Good . Ill.: Various. Very Good .
