There is a small brown stain on foredge of third volume, but this has not affected the margins or text of the interior pages. Labels, stamps, and card pockets on endpapers; former owner name on title pages. Light pencil marginalia in Volume 1 on pages 148-149 and in Volume 2 on pages 10-11. Otherwise, text clean and binding tight. Sturdy volumes excellent for reference. Issued as softcovers only; these volumes were rebound in hardcover.
