They soon find themselves in a strange land with people made of cake, chocolate walls, and a moving prison of sugar. Written and illustrated by Jean de Bosschere, a Belgian writer and painter. Translated by Fryniwyd Tennyson Jesse Harwood, an English journalist, author and criminologist. In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities and fading to the spine. A small mark to the front board with a small split in the cloth at the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
