This is a lovely first edition of this work that concerns the sea-trout. This work was written by Henry Lamond, Secretary of the Loch Lomond Angling Improvement Association, and is a large paper study of the sea-trout for anglers. There are chapters on their eggs and alevins, the spawning period and the fry stage. Illustrated with nine coloured plates and thirty-eight full page plates with numerous figures in black and white. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light rubbing and bumping to the spine. There are some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound.
