This collection was compiled by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in the early nineteenth century, being translated into English from the original German in 1923. The work features numerous well-known fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, The Golden Goose and many more. Bound in the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally, very good indeed, with light bumping to the extremities and spine, with a little rubbing to boards. Front hinge is a touch strained, but holding firm. The odd spot to fore edge.
