The volume is divided into four sections: 'Charles Dickens and His Illustrators,' by Arthur Wright; 'A Bibliographical List' of the original illustrations to the works of Charles Dickens, compiled by Thomas Hatton; 'A Retrospectus' on the editions of Dickens' work; and a 'Prospectus' on the Nonesuch Dickens. The machining of the lithographic reproductions is performed by the Curwen Press, London. The binding is done by the Leighton-Straker bookbinding Company, Ltd. of London. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and very minor marking to the boards.
