With an introduction from Samuel Wilberforce, an English bishop in the Church of England. Known as "Soapy Sam", Wilberforce was one of the greatest public speakers of his day and later led the anti-slave-trade movement. Lacking pages 83 to 98. In the original full brown morocco with gold metal trims, a metal cross to the front board, and a clasp. Externally, smart with light wear and minor rubbing to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with pages 83 to 98 removed. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark.
