The first edition of this work. With an engraved title page and fifty-two plates.  Each plate has two views.Accompanying the plates are sections of introductory text. The accompanying text gives brief historical information on the different parts of Lancashire pictured. Including, the statue of George III, London Road; Wavertree Hall; The Goree Warehouses; and Hulme Hall. In a half diced calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Patches of rubbing to the joints and extremities. Small loss to the head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Occasional scattered light spots to pages. Very Good .
