Containing extracts from works such as: Mother of God, Envoy to Scogan, and Lack of Steadfastness. A One-Text Print of Chaucer's Troilus and Criseyde, 1888. An epic poem which re-tells in Middle English the tragic story of the lovers Troilus and Criseyde set against a backdrop of war during the siege of Troy. The Chronology of Chaucer's Writings, 1890. A detailed and comprehensive record of the origins of each of Chaucer's works with dates, contained in four periods of his life. Written by John Koch, an American academic, historian, and linguist, specialising in prehistory and the early Middle Ages. Bound in half calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with small cracks to the joints. Light loss to the spines with library labels to the head of the spines. Front hinges starting. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Minor age toning to the extremities. Library bookplate to the front pastedown with library sticker to the reverse of the title page, and library ink stamps to the endpapers and the odd page. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
