In a half calf binding with marbled paper covered boards. Gilt detailing to back strip, with rubbing to back strip head and tail and front joint. Boards lightly age toned. Hinges strained but firmly held. Inscription to head of title page. Internally, firmly bound. Title page and frontispiece lightly age toned.
