Channing was known for his articulate and impassioned sermons and public speeches, and as a prominent thinker in the liberal theology of the day.In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding, with gilt detailing to the spine. Milton is best known for his epic poem Paradise Lost of which is included here, as well as its sequel Paradise Regained.
