The first edition of this volume comprising bibliographical information on the Nonesuch Dickensiana. Containing four peces 'Charles Dickens and His Ilustrators,' by Arthur Wright, past president of the Dickens Fellowship nd Deputy-Chairman of the Board of Chapman and Hall (the original Dickens publishers); 'A Bibliographical List' of the original illustrations to the works of Charles Dickens, compiled by Thomas Hatton; 'A Retrospectus' on the editions of Dickens' work; and a 'Prospectus' on the Nonesuch Dickens. Illustrated with some plates of photographs and facsimiles of Dickens' original work. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear only and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint spotting to the endpapers, not affecting the leaves which are bright and clean.
