JASON, ALAN (STORY BY) (PSEUDONYM OF GEOFFREY BOND) - Adventures of a Scout the Baden Powell Story

England: Eagle Comics, 1969. Comic Book. Illustrated by Norman Williams. Color Illustrations; "This is an oversized comic (approx. 8.5" x 11) . The comic is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The comic is in full color and on a cheap type of paper. The covers, and interior pages are noticeably toned. There are several small edge nicks and tears to the edges of the comic covers. The text pages are mostly clean and bright, though noticeably toned. This comic was produced by Eagle Comics (England) as a promotional giveaway for the Boy Scouts of America (possibly requested by the American Scouts? ) and has the same interior as B-P's Life in Pictures (the Canadian version). There is an address label sized sticker on the top edge of the front cover that notes: "A supplement of "Scout Memoriabilia, Vol. 5, No. 3, 1970". (from what I can find, this 1969 / 1970 printing is a copy of the original 1954 edition of an Eagle Comic Biography, The Baden-Powell Story, and possibly requested by the BSA for some giveaway opportunity).. Very Good .
