Sir Hugh Percy Lane (9 November 1875 – 7 May 1915) is best known for establishing Dublin's Municipal Gallery of Modern Art (the first known public gallery of modern art in the world) and for his remarkable contribution to the visual arts in Ireland, including the Lane Bequest. Professor Thomas Patrick Bodkin (July 21, 1887 – April 24, 1961) was an Irish lawyer, art historian, art collector and curator. In a green cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. There is some discolouration to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
