Fine, uniform original decorated cloth bindings. = Deals with the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi and is on many subjects a standard work (e.g. history of the cartography; geology and palaeontology, ethnography, etc., etc.). This set probably from Abendanon himself, or a co-worker, as the first volume contains many corrections in light pencil; including corrections of data that seems to be unknown from outside sources. A set of the complete text. The separate atlas is not included. Apart from the pencilled marginalia an unusually fine, unmarked set.
