Original printed front wrapper bound in. = An important, early, well-illustrated flora of Afghanistan, containing many new or poorly known species. James Aitchison (1836-1898) was a British botanist who joined the Bengal Medical Service in 1858 and collected in India (1861-1872) and in Afghanistan (1879-1883). second map and front wrapper reinforced with linen. Some minor spotting, but mostly clean. A very good copy. Not in Stafleu and Cowan.
