Berne, J. J. Burgdorfer, [1823]. 4to (31.2 x 24.5 cm). 61 pp.; two engraved plates. Original printed wrappers. = A fine monograph by the Swiss botanis Nicolas Charles Seringe (1776-1858). Published as part of a series titled: Musée Helvétique d'Histoire Naturelle (Botanique) ou Descriptions et figures particulièrement des plantes les plus rares ou les plus intéressantes de la Suisse (title on the wrapper, which, however, is dated 1820), or Musée Helvétique d'Histoire Naturelle (Partie Botanique) ou Collection des Mémoires, monographies, notices botaniques (the final tile; see Biodiversity Library online). Most probably rare as we can not find any trace of this Swiss "journal", nor is this article to be traced under Seringe in Stafleu and Cowan. Under 11.706 they refer to this journal but only to cahier 1 to 3-4 and we have 5-6.
