With seven stories and poems, illustrated by the author. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine. Cloth to spine has slightly darkened, gilt still visible. Inscribed by a previous owner to front free endpaper, dated 1898. Internally, binding is firm. Slight closed tear to page 88, not affecting contents. Minor faint scattered spotting to first and last few leaves, otherwise pages are generally bright and clean throughout.
