John Brady's look at the history of significant days of the year, including saints days, days of coronation and royal births, and historic dates, such as the day of the Great Fire of London in 1666. This includes a history on Saint Barnabas, Saint Alban, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Peter. Also included is the coronation of King George III, the birthday of the Prince of Wales, and a note of the longest day of the year. Brady was a clerk who also wrote 'The Credulity of our Forefathers' and 'Varieties of Literature&apos. With seven plates to Volume I. With an errata to Volume I.
