The children and It reappear in the sequels 'The Phoenix and the Carpet' and 'The Story of the Amulet&apos.Illustrated by H. R. Millar. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Spine is a little faded. Some marks to the boards resulting in discolouration, and with a few small tide marks to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small crack to the rear joint. Front hinge is strained, rear hinge is starting. Gift inscription in pencil to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
