Originally published as 'Artis Magnae Artilleriae' in Amsterdam in 1650 the work contains one of the first tracts on the rocket as well as treating the subjects of pyrotechnics and weights and measures. This edition complete with all twenty-three engraved folding plates.. Modern leather binding with new endpapers. Contents G - in Good condition. Some mild foxing and light marking to text and plates. Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.
