One engraved title page and one printed in red and black. 37 of the 40 full page engraved plates. Numerous head and tail pieces, plus two engravings to text.. Attractive modern rebind with "Evelyn - Architecture" blind stamped to spine. Slightly dampstained, more heavily at end. Two pages missing from chapter XXI (pages 57,58), chapters 27 & 28 missing (pages 69, 70, 71 and 72) from which there would have been 3 plates .

Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.
