The pagination is faulted, jumping from pages 107 to 183 - though the book is complete. William Leybourn was a printer before working as a land and quantity surveyor. He was one of the surveyors of London after the great fire of 1666 where he was associated with Robert Hooke. His book was one of the standard treatises on surveying throughout the second half of the 17th. and beginning of the 18th. century.. G: in good condition.
