This is a Very Good Copy of this Book in red cloth with black title lettering to spine,in a Good dust-jacket that has some rubbing and wear to the outer edges of the dust-jacket with tiny nicks to head of spine and corners of the wrapper plus a small 2cm chip to the d/j at the bottom edge of the lower cover.The red title lettering along spine remains still quite bright and vibrant (often not the case)Not price clipped.There is some spotting to the pre-lims and also tanning and spotting to the text block edges is noted.There are NO previous owner's names or inscriptions present.Illustrations by Eileen Soper.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and there is no leaning or rolling to spine.Uncommon early title,8vo 192pp First Edition 2nd Impression [1949].
