A Good Only Copy of this chap size book that measures just over 4'' by just under 3'' wide.In original boards with gilt title to the upper cover and with blind stamped scroll design to both front and rear boards.There is some staining to the front and rear boards,hinges iinternally are weakened at some page gatherings.There are a total of 10 engravings including the engraved title pages.There are NO former names or inscrptions present.The text remains clean internally,with original yellow endpapers.At the end of the book is an 8 page list of the religious works sold by J Groom in both London and Birmingham.Each individual story has 16 pages so a total of 96pp.Certainly a rare item [1849]. Very Good .
