A Very Good Copy of this Book in full brown calf,with red morocco title label in 2nd compartment to spine,5 raised bands,other panels have decorative gilt,faded inner dentelle's.This copy is two volumes in one of the First Edition and is complete wi th 20 coloured etchings and approx 240 woodcut engravings set within the text of both volumes.All edges are marbled,their is some general wear to outer boards,binding is tight,needs a new ffep.Nice clean copy internally with only an occasional spott ing mark,plates by Leech are very nice and remain bright,8vo vol one (viii) 320pp vol two (xii) 304pp Size: 8vo - over 5¾" - 7¾" Tall. Very Good .
