Front hingis cracked. ¶ Engraved title-page, 160 engraved plates (one folding) and with a neat contemporary 8 page manuscript index to the plates bound in at the ends. A good clean copy of this collection of fine engravings of objects in the Royal Museum of Naples and several other private collections. An excellent collection of classical images which includes many full-page sculptures, urns, vases, friezes from vases with the shape of the vase itself depicted underneath, classical nude or partially draped statues, furniture and candelabra, seats etc., plates of wall paintings, dancing girls, family groups etc.
