LUND Paul - Trawlers go to War. The Story of 'Harry Tate's Navy'. BRIGHT, CLEAN COPY IN UNCLIPPED DUSTWRAPPER

Foulsham,, [1971]. 8vo., First Edition, with 34 plates on 16; blue cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter chafed at extremities. The second collaboration by a team with an established reputation for combining successfully history and personal recollection. This is the story of the Royal Navy Patrol Service, whose extemporised fleet of trawlers, drifters and whale-catchers fought in virtually every naval theatre of WWII. Based largely on eye-witness accounts, this is the first dedicated account and already very scarce, the more so in this condition. Enser, p.427; Law, 1105.
